Norrland Rail’s central station is loud, crowded and confusing for the hours that matter most. Signage told people where to go; nothing told the station how its people were moving.

Murmur is a field of light across the main hall that reads the crowd, not individuals. No cameras, no faces: only density and direction, rendered as a halftone that thickens where people gather.

When the field turns vermilion, a platform is filling faster than it empties. Staff see it from across the hall; passengers simply drift towards the calmer side.
